Part 3

As we got off It's a small world the parade was getting ready to go by. As we walked up and Chad got ready to hoist him up on his shoulders he asked why did daddy always have to lift him up to see things (we had already watched a few street shows and stuff). Then we started talking to the lady in front of us. Just as the parade was pulling up she and her family pushed all the kids, Tyler included, in front of all us adults. He got to watch the parade from the front. I thanked her again and again and told her how much that meant to us and him. They were so nice!

Chad wanted to get a caramel apple and watch the fireworks, so we got our apple and headed over to the castle. Much to out excitement the curb in front of the castle was free and we asked if it was OK to sit there. We were told it was OK but we had to stay off the sidewalk. We sat down and while we still had an hour to wait we were not in any rush and did not feel compelled to spend the time doing rides. We had done most everything else we wanted to do. After waiting a while we were told we could move up to the rope! We were literally in the front row to watch the fire works. More on that later.

Tyler trying his hand at pulling the sward from the stone.

Another ride we bit our tongues and rode. He wanted to ride the Casey Jr. train and he wanted to ride in the cage. Just as we would have been getting on a family came in from the handicapped exit and got on, which pushed us back to the next train allowing us to be the second ones on the train which allowed us to get the coveted cage car.

This day at Disney could not have been any more perfect. Tyler had a great time and we had a great time getting to know him better. He was such a different person on his own and it was so pleasant to spend the day with him. We got so much done and I think we even left the park a tiny bit early it was open from 9:00 - 11:00. I can't wait to go back with the other kids.
