The idea behind this genius is that the birthday child gets to spend his or her birthday with mom and dad one on one at the happiest place on earth and that they get to call the shots. They get to choose what we will do and when we will do it.
Tyler of course wanted to go on one of his favorite rides Big Thunder Mt.
He wanted to try the shooting gallery. Something he always wants to do, but we never have.
This one took some tongue biting to allow. They had a face painter and she cost $15.00! Chad tried to talk him out of it, but he was willing to spend his own money and he really wanted it. I reminded Chad that this was his birthday and it was all about what he wanted. This is something we would absolutely never do, but he got his way and..
spent the rest of the day with this cool dragon painted on his face. As you will see it is now all over the rest of the pictures, but he loved it. He loved that people were always noticing it and remarking on it. We even had one guy chase us down after one ride to ask where we had it done. He loved the attention.
To be continued on the next post.

What a wonderful way to spend your birthday Tyler!! I was thinking about you.
I have a friend that is also doing this and we had thought about it but since reading about your trip, now Sam got excited about it and we are really thinking about doing it. We didn't want to do Jordan's trip on Jan. 1 so we'll just do his another day.
