Aiden loves taking pictures

Aiden loves to get his hands on the camera!! here a few of his masterpieces.

Fishing

Every year our church has a father son camp out. Some times chad had to work so it has become our tradition for chad and the boys to stay in town and spend some time together. This year Chad took the boys fishing at his favorite catch and release residential "lake". They had gone out to dinner the night before and then went and got fishing stuff. Aiden was so excited to get a kid size "cars" fishing pole. He proudly tells everyone who will listen to him about the monster fish he caught.

and about how daddy had a double hook line and caught 2 fish.

they caught 52 fish and two turtles.

Band performance

this year Casey was in band club. At the end of the year the band club was invited to join the eighth graders for an of the year performance.

Casey and his great band teacher mr Brenamen.

walking

I had to try to get a shot of these crocodile tears. They were hard to capture but I think I got one.
Brody is my latest walker. they boys were walking by 10 months and Court by 11 months. Brody started walking everywhere about a week after his first birthday.

Mother Day

Courts actual birthday landed on Mothers Day so we got to share the special day with each other. I always have big expectations of a perfect day of no fighting kids and not having to do ant cooking or chores.....let just say mothers day is always a let down with those expectations. This year was much better. I got a beautiful rose and while I still had to the normal things I do every day, Chad was a huge helper. Chad made fillet Mignon for dinner with mashed potatoes, grilled veggies and salad. It was super yummy :)
I like lemon cake and chad does not but he made the sacrifice and got it for dessert. Court got to blow out the candles.

Court is 7!

Courtney's birthday!! She turned 7 this year and her restaurant choice was the Golden Coral. Unlike Tyler she could not be talked into someplace else. This was actually a great choice for Courtney since she is our super picky eater! The option to not eat it if she didn't like it was to much for her to resist. I was not looking forward to this dinner option, but was pleasantly surprised! It was great!! they had some really good meat and it was actually a very yummy dinner. She made herself a birthday crown the she insisted on wearing. Our waiter of course noticed and they brought her a cupcake and sang to her, which she loved :)

After dinner we went to target and she picked out some clothes and a toy. We also hit Barns and Noble for a book and a stuffed animal. I don't know why, but she loves the stuffed animals at Barns and Noble

I think was disappointed not to get a pedicure this year...maybe next year :)
