Here are the kids in their new church clothes that they got for Christmas. I got the boy s a little big so that they would have room to grow. Tyler sporting a goofy smile.

Roller Skating

We were going to go to the drive-in for Chad's birthday, but then a friend of Tyler's invited us to go roller skating. This worked out especially since the car ended up in the shop and we were without transportation. The other parents were kind enough to work out a car pool so that we were able to join them. The rink was in Phoenix. They had a coupon out for the night since it is a holiday weekend,

It was so crowded! We still had a great time. Casey was all over the rink! I didn't realise he would have such a great time. He absolutely loved it and would anxiously wait when ever they would clear the rink and only let the backwards skaters, or the advanced skaters go. He asked if we could do it again.
Tyler could skate well and could get around the rink, but
was nervous with so many

people. I had to bribe him with the promise of a snack to get him to go out there with me so I could get a picture. Court went out once with each of us, but we were mostly holding her up and pulling her along. She was really scared and with it being so crowded it was a bit difficult maneuvering with her. Aiden of course didn't go skating at all and we were told we couldn't even be holding him while wearing skates, so we

took turns switching off between him and the others. We will have to go back after we have taught Court to skate a little and either wait till Aiden is older or get him a sitter. We had a great time and went out for pizza after. Happy Birthday Daddy! Maybe we will go to the drive-in next week. Thanks to Tyler's friend Mckenna and her mom Sarah for inviting us and working out the car situation. Big huge thanks to Becky who had most of the kids in here car and got to endure the noise and craziness.

Operation Repo

There is this Show on tru TV called Operation Repo. It is about a family that goes and repossesses cars. It is crazy to watch the drama they endure. It is one of Chads favorite new finds....
Here is our car getting towed away to the repair shop. The kids got a kick out of watching the guy hook it up and getting it up on to the bed of his truck. They thought it was pretty cool. The night of the 16th the kids and I went to the store to get Chad some birthday presents. We were on the 303 which is a small highway by our house. It is not lit well, so I didn't see the debris in the road until my headlights hit it and by then it was too late for me to avoid hitting what ever it was. I think it was either a blown out tire or some big plastic thing. What ever it was broke our fuel line and while we got home safe we notice the scent of gas. The next morning when the smell was still very strong I called the car repair shop and told them what happened. The guy said I really shouldn't drive it and should get it towed in. We are glad it was nothing worse and should get our car back on Tues the 20th.

Why waste time getting undressed?

Aiden loves to take baths. Here he climbed in to his bath before we got him undressed. I had gone to get the wipes and while Chad had his back turned, Aiden Climbed right in. This is not the first time he has done this either. I didn't have my camera the last time thought it was funnier then. He was at a friends house and I just showed up to pick up him and the other kids. They had gone to the park and my friend was putting her daughter in the bath and before she knows it Aiden is in the bath fully clothed. We're talking Jacket, jeans, shoes and socks! It was so funny to walk in and see him happily playing in the bath fully dressed.

First tooth for T

Tyler lost his first tooth! He was so excited. He has been asking me why so and so has lost teeth and he hasn't. While we were sitting in church a couple of weeks ago I asked to see his mouth and found one of his teeth was loose. I asked "why didn't you tell me you had a loose tooth?" he said he didn't even know it was loose. Then I asked to see again and discovered the one right next to it was loose too! Later that week the first one fell out while he was at school. The tooth fairy visited and left him a dollar.
He just lost the other one on Saturday which is good since it was starting to bother him while eating. The tooth fairy forgot to come Sat. night, and last night he spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Kitchen's, so we will be awaiting another visit tonight, hopefully she hasn't forgotten again.

Rock Star

The kids got a play station 2 for Christmas. With it they got Guitar Hero. I know we are bit behind the times, but oh well. They LOVE to play. Casey has especially taken to it. He loves to trash talk Chad about how he is going to kick his butt at it. He is so proud that he has been able to practice and actually finish a couple of songs. Even when he fails to complete the
song he is happy with a high percentage score. He is the
best of the kids and is especially proud that he beat my score the one time I played him. While I may pull my hair out if I hear "Schools Out" one more time, I love to see them enjoying it so much and I love that they try to give us tips to improve, like counting the beat. Who knows maybe this will spark an interest in music one day. Aiden even likes to put the guitar on and rock out too. I'll have to get a picture of it some day.

New Year

For new years Chad and I went to an 80's party. After getting all dressed up and and ready I had to decide on the hair doo. It was a toss up between the side pony or the big hair, big bang look. As you can see the side pony won. I have practically no experience in Hair dooing since my hair has a mind of it's own and I don't have the patience or desire to attempt to tame such an atrocity. I really had no idea how to accomplish the big look and not end up looking like Homie the clown. Chad did not dress up, though he had a good time looking for ideas. We had so much fun. The party throwers had the brilliant idea of having a New York celebration so we said our "Happy New Years" at 10:00 and had the babysitter home by 10:45. It was great for us since Chad had been up since 1:45 and wouldn't have lasted much longer. Happy New Year to all.
