Beach day

While the weather was absolutely beautiful on the day we arrived it was cold and overcast on the day we were scheduled to go to the beach. Luckily the kids did not mind a bit. I took a few of the older kids over to the tide pools and they had fun looking for hermit crabs and touching sea anemones.

Chad played with he little kids and built sand castles.

Some of the older kids tried to boogie board.

Grandpa said we were not allowed to bury anyone since he was worried about sand in the eyes, but my cousin Matt (rule breaker) buried his daughter.

Mom and aunt Roz.

I love this pic of my dad cuz his white hair blends into the white sky :)

And I love that Brody was dumping sand on Casey's head and Casey just kept on building his castle.

I took Brody back to our room early, but Chad and a few others and lots of kids stayed and braved the cold for a couple more hours. They had a great time.
