Tylers Birthday

This we decided to give the kids a budget for their birthday and then they had to take us out to do something with the money.  They could take us to ice cream or a movie or whatever they wanted and then they could keep what money was left over to buy a present.  There was a lot of planning and changing of plans and rules, like they had to actually do something with us, no just keeping the money.
Tyler's day came and he decided to take us to a place called jump street.  It is a big building filled with trampolines.  There is trampolines 40 feet long and dodgeball trampolines and a foam pit.  He had such a great time and chad and I got a good workout....well chad did, I was done after about 3 minutes.  We took him to dinner at 5and diner and then we went shopping.  He had a huge list of things he wanted and money from grandparents to spend.  He had already bought new shoes that he found on sale at big 5 and found some bike parts on the Internet that were tones cheaper than at the bike store.  He still had a bit left so we headed to the mall where he was able to buy a couple hats that he asked Grandma Kitchen to embroider form him.  We had so much fun on our date with Tyler and he had a great birthday.  I forgot my camera so I only got this one picture on Chad's phone of him in line for the foam pit.
